Pressure dilute / semi-dense phase conveying
Perfect for conveying powder and granular bulk material. The bulk material is fed by means of a rotary airlock valve (drop-through valve with pick-up pan or blow-through valve). It is important to ensure appropriate valve venting. A blower package generates the pressure required for conveying. The bulk material is conveyed continuously and distributed to the respective receivers, tanks, or silos, via diverter valves. Adequately sized filter are required at product destination points.
  Advantages
  Long conveying distances

High throughput rates

Ideal for systems with one feeding point and several delivery points

  Best for conveying

Flour, semolina, sugar, salt, PVC powder, or granules etc.
  Pressure dense phase conveying
Gentle conveying of granules in low-velocity conveying systems with minimum abrasion and formation of ‘angel hair'. The high-pressure lock can be filled by sack feed, tank, silo, or scales. Using alternating pressure impulses, the product and air are introduced alternatively into the conveying pipe. Even with the high product charging, operating costs are extremely low due to the low air consumption.
  Advantages
  Compact construction saves space

High operational safety with low control system costs

Can be used for high pressure differentials
  Best for conveying

Granular materials that need gentle conveying
  Pressure-vessel dilute / semi-dense phase conveying
Ideal for conveying granular / powder bulk materials that cannot be conveyed via airlocks due to abrasion. Highly abrasive products, or very high conveying rates use this system as well. The pressure vessel is filled from above using scales, tank, silos, or a sack feeding station. Then the pressure vessel is sealed pressure-tight and the required conveying pressure is applied. This comes either from a rotary piston blower or from the central compressed air source. An electronic self-optimizing control unit monitors and regulates the distribution of compressed air to the product and bypass. A new filling cycle can begin only once the empty state is signaled. Often, the emptying is monitored according to weight.
  Advantages

Equipment wear kept to a minimum

High throughput rates

Conveying over long distances

Conveying of bulk materials with a wide range of particle densities
  Best for conveying

Limestone, salt, minerals etc.
  Pressure-vessel dense phase conveying
The pressure vessel can be filled by bag dump, tank, silo, or scales. An air cushion is forced into the conveying pipe between each product slug using a special conveying air feed device (Laval nozzle). Product distribution occurs via diverter valves to receivers designed for pressure conveying systems, and equipped with appropriately sized filters.

Extremely gentle conveying

Segregation-free conveying of mixtures

Low operating costs
  Best for conveying

Heat-sensitive and fragile bulk materials at high rates over long distances
