SOLLICH has been producing starchless moulding and depositing plants for nearly 50 years. The company installed the first starchless line in their own factory at Rostok. The original starchless process is still in use today, although the new Candymaster incorporates the most modern machine design principles and uses the latest mould technology.   • The plant is ideal for forming high boiled products such as clear fruit sweets, mints, hard toffees, milk boils etc. e.g. Life savers, Fox candy.
  • Fitted with Aluminium moulds made of special Teflon coating.
  • Each and every cavity is provided with spring mounted, Teflon coated pin, which ejects the product mechanically after cooling.
  • Output of 200~2000 kg/h. Product weight 3~10 g.Variable mould sizes available.
  • D2 - Two-row depositor for outputs upto 750 k/h. Capacity upto 120 rows/min for single colored products, and 55 rows/min for twin-colored product or one-shot filled products.
  • D4 - Two row depositor for outputs upto 2000 k/h. Capacity upto 240 rows/min for single colored products, and 110 rows/min for twin-colored product or one-shot filled products.

  • Fitted with Flexible Silicon Rubber moulds
  • Each product is individually ejected/de-moulded by staggered pushers
  • Output of 200~2000 kg/h. Product weight 3~10 g.Variable mould sizes available.
  • D2 - Two-row depositor for outputs upto 750 k/h.Capacity upto 120 rows/min for single colored products, and 55 rows/min for twin-colored product or one-shot filled products.

World Class features of the Candymaster:

  • One shot technology to produce filled products.
  • Machines available with simple, low cost drive and control systems when producing single layer / single color products.
  • Extremely Flexible: One depositor can be used for high boiled and low boiled products. Moulds are easily changeable for this purpose. However, a special demoulding station is needed for both options.
  • Specially developed software can store 1,700 product recipes and combinations for simple one-shot operation.
  • The piston can deposit 4 rows per stroke of single colour products or 2 rows per stroke of two colour or centre filled one-shot products.
  • The depositing weight from 3 g to 10 g per nozzle is adjustable during running. Depositing accuracy +/- 0.1 g. For higher counts (Indian context), the depositor can be specially configured for a mould having 3 rows of 3 g product weight.
  • Nozzle and hopper have a special jacketed heating arrangement for uniform viscosity of the sugar mass. This also prevents clogging.
  • A two zone cooling tunnel equipped with 2 evaporators and heavy-duty fans ensures uniform and efficient product cooling. The mould-cooling tunnel includes an 18.5 kW Copeland cooling compressor for Freon R 134 plus water-cooled condenser. A single tunnel can be used for high boiled and low boiled products (though throughputs may change).
  • The depositing hopper can be divided across the width to make different products (in terms of shape, size and colour) simultaneously.
  • The moulds are easily interchangeable without tools. The entire plant is easy to clean.
  • A linear hydraulic drive ensures precise operation. All functions like depositing, mould movement, mould lifting, automatic product ejection are fully synchronised and computerised. Adjustment is possible online.
  • The complete line is PLC controlled with a modern coloured PC monitor. All product data are stored and fully repeatable.
  • Integration with downstream operations possible. For instance, the sweet centres are discharged to the front of the line in regimented form for direct feed to the enrober (in case of enrobed products).
  • Advantage of Sollich's extensive worldwide experience and know how. In India , our principals recommend the installation of an automatic de-humidifier for hygroscopic sugar products.
